Hoop House is a design build project completed in groups of six. The objective is to design a structure that will extend the growing season of the plants it houses. The site given to us was the Phipps Conservatory: Edible Garden. After analyzing the site and the scope our objective was to create a design that maximized growing potential of plants; allowing a variety of species sun angles to grow, maximizing direct sunlight on the plastic surface and keeping an airtight seal.
